The new Mister Supranational, Varo Vargas’ first international trip was to Spain where he was invited to be a judge and mentor at the RNB Espana Competition. It was the first edition of this competition with 52 men representing every province of Spain competing for the chance to be the next Mister Supranational Spain. This event also served as a Supra reunion with Miss Supranational 2019, Anntonia Porsild, Mister Supranational Poland, Daniel Borzewski, and the outgoing Mister Supranational Spain, Lucas Munoz-Alonso present. Making it an even bigger Supra family affair, Miss and Mister Supranational Venezuela, Valentina Sanchez Trivella and William Baddel, also jetted in to be at the final.
Varo, accompanied by the reigning Mister Supranational Spain and 4th runner-up, appeared on Llego la Hora. Despite doing many interviews via Zoom or phone, it was Varo’s first live on-set interview. “This was a great experience for me since most of my other interviews were Zoom interviews. I was filled with adrenaline and so excited,” Varo said afterwards.
The contestant and the team took part in a wide variety of activities and sightseeing in the build-up to the final in and around Periana and Nerja. It was Manuel Ndele that took home the title. The organization also announced that the next edition would be held in Nerja in 2022.
“I was very SUPRA excited to here and to be able to speak to all the contestants and give them advice in my native language. Everything was super organised and we want to say a huge thank you to the RNB Organization for making us feel so welcome and special,” Varo said as he left for the airport.
