As an ambassador for the Sasakawa Leprosy -Hansen's Disease- Initiative #mistersupranational Fezile Mkhize will undertake a mission to #ethiopia from 20-27 January.
Dr. Fez will arrive in Ethiopia on Monday, 20 January, and start with an orientation meeting for a busy week of meaningful work ahead. He will meet some of the stake holders who work on the leprosy / Hansen’s disease initiative in Ethiopia Also, he will undergo some training with medical professionals, visit a community in Shashemene where he will meet the health bureau. Dr. Fezile will also take part in a panel discussion and present his views on mitigating the stigma surrounding leprosy / Hansen’s disease. This will be extra meaningful as it will take place on World Leprosy Day on Sunday the 26th.
