Haoyong (Leo) Qin was born and raised in Linfen — the earliest capital of China, a place where ancient heritage meets enduring resilience. He carries that same strength, along with the bold spirit of his namesake, The Lion King. That childhood film not only helped him learn English but also shaped his identity as a leader unafraid to stand up for change. Inspired by his mother’s words, “Fearless curiosity makes life extraordinary,” Leo pursued his education in the US, earning his bachelor’s and the first master’s degree in Las Vegas and then completing an MBA at Cornell. Now working as a business consultant and living in NYC, he has built a career that challenges him intellectually but once took a toll on his health—until CrossFit helped him reclaim his strength
Beyond his professional life, Leo is passionate about promoting mental and physical well-being for overworked professionals. He also uses his platform to advocate for youth in underserved communities, believing that education has the power to transform lives. An avid skier, he finds freedom on the slopes and fulfillment in mentoring international students, helping them navigate their careers with the same determination that took him from a small town in China to the global stage
