Visiting Leprosy Self Care Communities
#mistersupranational2024 Dr. Fezile Mkhize from South Africa visited Leprosy Self Care communities in Nampula, Mozambique during his mission with the Sasakawa Leprosy / Hansen’s disease Initiative. He was speaking with the local leaders about the important of supporting each other and giving correct information about Hansen’s disease/leprosy as well as sharing the hope of eradicating Leprosy in the near future.
Dr. Fezile Mkhize embraced the President of one of the communities who had Leprosy and had to face being ostracized by his community only to help create a community that would allow everyone to be a part of it and help them care for each other. #LeprosyAwareness #MisterSupranational #Obrigado
